Walter Bargen
Poet Laureate of Missouri

Walter Bargen has published twelve books of poetry and two chapbooks of poetry.  His peoms have recently appeared in the "Beloit Poetry Journal," "Poetry East," "River Styx," "Seattle Review," and "New Letters."  He was the winner of the Chester H. Jones Foundation prize in 1997 and a National Endowment for the Art Fellowship in 1991.  In 2008, he was appointed to be the first Poet Laureate of Missouri.  Join us for an evening of poetry followed by a reception and book signing.
